i. We invite you to be part of the BWACC’s (Central Bolton) future by joining/becoming the member of BWACC. The member’s support exhibits development, educational programs and all other special events. Your membership brings you an invitation to annual members only to the events.

ii. Membership shall be open to individuals over the age of 18 years or organisations of Bangladeshi origin residing permanently within central Bolton, regardless of their religious beliefs provided they accept the aims and objects of the BWACC, who are approved by the Executive Committee.




6) Membership Fees

i. General Membership fee - £59-99(Annual Membership)

ii. Silver Membership fee - £99-249(Annual Membership)

iii. Gold Membership fee - £250-299(Annual Membership)

iv. FOUNDER MEMBERSHIP may be conferred by the Executive Committee to persons who will initially donate at least £5001. A Founder member does not thereafter pay an annual subscription of £60. The founder membership will be inherited by the next of kin.

v. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP may be conferred by the Executive Committee to persons over the age of 18 whose contribution in furthering the BWACC’s aim and objectives are considered to be the most beneficial and outstanding. Such membership will be subject to renewal every two years. The number of such members should not exceed 6 at any given time.

vi. THE MEMBERSHIP shall be on a three-yearly basis and shall terminate and the end of the Biennial General Meeting as hereafter defined.

vii. FOUNDER MEMBERS will have voting rights and such member or members may be living in or outside the area.

7) Subscription

i. All paid members shall pay such subscription as the Executive Committee recommends, subject to the approval of the General Members at the Annual General Meeting.

 

8) Co-option

i. The Executive Committee shall be empowered to co-opt up to 4 persons with special expertise to the Executive Committee. The Chairperson of other Committees working with the Centre will automatically become a member of the Executive Committee.

9) Termination of Membership

i. The Executive Committee shall have the right for good and sufficient reason to suspend or terminate the membership of an individual provided that the intending member shall have the right to be heard by the Executive Committee before the final decision is made.
