The Bangladesh Welfare Association & Community Centre

Associating with local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants united in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, employments for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving conditions of life for the said inhabitant>

Some Of Our Activities

Environmental awareness campaign for the community people

Community’s religious programs (Expenses for arrangement and running for Taraweeh Salat and Eid Reunion festival will be paid by members)

Vocational training for the community people, e.g. IT, language, income generating, starting small businesses etc

Entrepreneurship training program for the empowerment of women

Charitable program for the disable, elderly and vulnerable people

Other social activities within the community such as Bangladesh Victory Day, Independence Day, Language Day and book fair, arts and cultural program. (Yearly events)

Event organisation for fund generation for all activities organised by the BWACC The organisation is not a grant-aided body. It generates funds through various activities, donations from its members, and assistance from various corporate and statutory bodies including which are mostly project based and vary from year to year.
